Smart Washing
How do you use them?

Toss all 3 wool balls in your dryer (6 for large dryers)
Simply store them in your dryer between loads

Looking to Keep Your Clothes Smelling Fresh?

Add a few drops of your favourite essential oil to each wool ball, rub them together. The scent will fade over 2-3 loads (depending on the temperature).

What’s the Difference Between the Wool Colours?

It’s your personal preference. There is none other than the breed of sheep. Made using white, grey or brown undyed wool, the colours do not affect the performance in any way and won’t bleed onto clothes.

Sustainably Sourced and Cruelty Free Wool:

We only work with Wool Cooperatives where the fleece is milled locally, reducing the carbon footprint. The finest wool comes from regions with a cool climate and high altitude where the sheep roam freely throughout the year. Our white wool currently is sourced on ranches in Montana and South Dakota while our coloured wools are sourced from Patagonia and Europe.

We are careful to only source wool from farms that never practice mulesing. Most importantly, the sheep live free-range and are never exposed to chemicals including sheep dips. The sheep are raised for their wool, not to eat.

Caring for Your Wool Balls?

Over time wool balls will pill and pick up loose threads. This shows they’re working hard for you. Give them an occasional trim as needed, then toss them back into the dryer.

Time to Send Your Wool Balls out to Pasture?

Wool is biodegradable so it can be planted in your garden as mulch to hold moisture. As they decompose, they add nutrients to the soil. Or just hang them outside for birds to collect the wool to build their nests.

Other Uses for Wool Balls?

They make great pet toys, your dog or cat will thank you. We have made them for Orangutans at The Toronto Zoo.

effective and reduces waste.

I started using wool dryer balls because I wanted to use something that reduced the waste I generated. I also have very sensitive skin and a product that could dry my clothes without fabric softeners was very appropriate for me. This is the second set of dryer balls I have purchased. 6 balls work well for large loads. These dryer balls work very well, especially for natural fibers. If you are drying a load that is composed primarily of synthetic fibers a lower heat setting is needed to reduce static build up. I like that I can compost the balls when they are worn out.

Great for drying clothes more naturally

These work great, I actually ordered a second set to have on hand or add to the dryer.

Amazingly Wonderful!

I was pretty skeptical when I bought these dryer balls. Ive had some before and wasnt very impressed. BUT these are amazing! Put six in my dryer and not only was the drying time noticeably reduced, but there is NO STATIC! Dont know whats different about this product, but Ill never be without.

Great product

Love the presentation but the dryer balls are so much better than some of those tight, hard ones you can buy that come from China. These last 1000 loads and I can mist them with water to lesson wrinkles and the water sticks to the wool unlike the harder balls where it just rolls off. Ive used balls for years these are the best so far. Plus I love the colour options makes my laundry room pretty.
